Traditional herbs and medicines from Peru are imported and used here at Chirinka. We use only quality herbs from renewable sources that have not been irradiated, heat treated or other treatments that destroys the medicinal properties of herbs. The herbs are safe and eco friendly, being accepted by both customs and quarantine.
The native people of the Andes and the Amazon have employed the use of plants to heal for many generations. There are still thousands of cures to discover in the Amazon, and we have quite a few already showing great results in modern research & studies. We are proud to share these medicines that have proven themselves very effective in treating many illness’s, including cancer therapy, digestive problems and kidney stones just to name a few.
The herbs here are in dried whole form with little to no processing or extraction, to preserve the active constituents. They are prescribed by a naturopath to be prepared for use in the traditional way, as used by the native peoples, for maximum efficacy.
